RL Review of the Printed Wool Wrap: Using Accessories to Help You Shop Your Closet!

The Printed Wool Wrap from JCrew retails for $58.  The color pictured here is the Deep Aubergine.  The 100% wool fabric is super-soft, yet thin enough to drape beautifully.  I Loveth.  The best part of this wrap is its versatility.  It can be worn with many gorgeous JCrew colors from the last couple of years.  This is the sort of thing JCrew should be doing more of, in my opinion.  Give us an affordable little accessory that can lift up our wardrobe, rather than changing the entire color palette every season.  The photo above displays the scarf with the Jayne Super 120's dress in Tea Rose.
Here the wrap is quite fetchingly thrown around the Ella dress in Dark Peony.
The wrap also looks smashing with the Ella dress in papaya!
This is just the scarf I needed for my Vintage Serge Spy Trench in Heather Salmon.  This is the one clothing item pictured here from Fall 09.
This one I love!  The wrap with the Juliet in Tortoiseshell.  A great way to sauce up some lean bootcut jeans and a plain shirt or sweater.  Saucy!
I wasn't sure I would love the fuzzy floral print when I purchased this online.  I thought it had that "OMG I have to stop crossing my eyes"  effect.  Or the "Holy Crap I've really had too many vodka gimlets" effect.  Instead, I am thrilled.  I'll get lots of wear out of this baby.  Yay!

Love it. Such a versatile piece!! It is just amazing with the tortoise shell pumps!

I also think it's a fab mix with the shoes. Way to go on getting extra wardrobe mileage from one accessory to finish bunch of outfits. Was actually thinking about ordering scarf in plum colour to go with bunch of grey JC pieces I have. So question, how is the texture, weave-quality wool "itch" factor? Budget toss up between this and Roots scarf I spotted; would appreciate your IRL feedback...

How did I miss this one?? I especially like it with the dark peony- beautiful. I think it was FFM who posted a scarf tying tutorial in the not too distant past- it's that time of year to brush up the scarf skills.

Super-cute. I really love those colors, especially as a pick-me-up on a cold, wintery day since those are right around the corner. I love all your style options too! fun, fun colors.

I have the super 120s dress in tea rose as well, so it looks like I have a perfect excuse for snagging (no pun intended!) this little scarf... ;)

HeidiG: I love it with the pumps too. They are my most favorite shoes!
GetFresh: I highly recommend the scarf, and the plum print is AMAZING!! It would be absolutely gorgeous with every shade of grey, and an affordable choice for the quality! It is the softest wool you can imagine. No Itching! It actually feels like a silk/wool blend to me but is in fact 100% wool. The weave is warm yet it drapes beautifully. The price point on it is terrific. :)
Woobie: I need to check out that scarf tutorial! I literally had five minutes to do my post and I was just throwing the scarf all over everything, pure comedy! I love it with the dark peony too, which is a really intense color, I think the print softens it a bit around the neckline.
MsMer: Sorry to be a shopping enabler, but it does look beautiful with the tea rose, kind of unexpectedly! You'll *have to* get it! ;)

Thanks for the reply! Going to try and order before FS runs out. In addition to FFM, YouTube Mod Cloth is good resource for scarf-tying ideas using various formats. Every time I get back from UK/Europe I long for all the artfully tied scarves, but I need visual aids to recreate like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ubVYCWDnkQ
