Mop Philosophy Monday

Smythson Antonia Clutch in a dark red with a silk taffeta leopard print.

If I wasn't mopping today I'd definitely trot around in this silk taffeta leopard print jacket.  It has a sort of peplum waist and some very glamourous black and gold snaps... it's perfect over a simple black dress.
I think a red clutch with an animal print is perfectly acceptable but what do you think?  A bit over the top?

Animal prints are either front and centre or lurking around the next corner it seems, and for whatever reason I'm finding the whole idea attractive right now.
I found my Valentino jacket on ebay in July and  look what MrBP bought for me while we were on holiday in August:
Tory Burch Denise Dress

More animal print, this time in an unusual navy and brown colourway.

The skirt has a wonderful swingy set of pleats that give a nice movement.  I haven't worn it yet but I'm eyeballing Friday night as a possible outing... I'll take a little picture if it all works out for us.
I really have fall clothes on my mind these days... it's getting colder and I've been going through my closet, donating and mending.  There's not much I'm planning on buying but I am looking at some good English Hiking Clothes.

My friend Stephanie has one and I think I might copy her.

What about a tweed skirt for walking?  It can't be too long or too short or too tight...

A wool scarf is always welcome in the fall.  I seem to be drawn towards touches of a dark red these days.  Further evidence of this:

Have you been looking at fall clothes?  Goodness knows there are lots of options.  Tempted by anything?  Planning anything that requires a new outfit?
