Mop Philosophy Monday

My good friend Dannie gave me these beeswax candles and they've become fast friends with the green twine.  I'm definitely using that twine to wrap up the Christmas presents, and the candles, well I don't want to light them yet as I love the colour.  Very matchy-matchy with the kitchen tile, don't you think?
I've been baking bread for The Rascals and MrBP even though I'm on a gluten-free diet.  Is this not selfless?
Delicious forbidden treats.
We have a friend who is a Gentleman Farmer, a talented litigator who somehow manages to run an organic vegetable farm.  How does he do it... and make the time to present us with the Treasures Of The Field:

We've been eating squash and then some squash, so healthy, one of my favourite recipes is a simple soup, served here with potato latkes:

Are you thrilled beyond belief that Bar Keeper's Friend can be sourced at Target for $1.99?
 Me too.

I wore this dress to Church On Sunday.
Liberty wool dress by Brora.
Brora tights.
La Canadienne boots.
The light of the low sun all this month has been completely amazing.
I've been staring and appreciating.  At this time of year the houses on our street illuminate with that November light, beyond the shadow.
A room with a view.
Our neighbours across the street.
Who doesn't love a black paint trim against old brick?  I took this photo around the corner, doesn't the light reflected in the glass look like a painting?
You can see the evidence on the sill... yup we've got snow.
I know you're worried about Rebecca, it's her first winter after all.
Well don't fret for a minute, she's more beautiful than ever.  The snow just highlights her features.
Rebecca
And I promised you a picture in the Mad Bomber hat...
I went for the Mad Plaid.  I figure when you're wearing a Mad Bomber hat you can get away with anything.
Hope your week starts off beautifully,
