I have worn the capris for a couple years now; I have black and natural. I bought 2 news pairs from Current/Elliott this year ( called "Buddy" pants, I think) in vintage coral and mermaid blue. They have bigger front pockets than the JC ones and are supremely comfortable. They both look good with my navy Everlane Vneck T and navy cabled linen V neck sweater from last year.

Dani, congrats on your daughter's graduation. I love the outfit you wore. We had my son's graduation last week and we are now in the process of purging his room of years of frightening clutter.
Thanks for the heads up on the shoes. I'm so reluctant to wear any flats after getting plantar fasciitis from wearing the J Crew flats and capri sandals pretty much all the time last year. I'm so glad the Cafe Capris worked out for you- they look very Dani in spite of your dislike for pants. I really like them as well, in fact I tried them on in the store on two different occasions but I really needed the tall size which they did not have.

Loving the new flats in both colors, I find that I always feel like princess and the pea when I used to wear repettos as well! Now i swear by the carina flats by hermes. They are pricey but I get them on sale and two years on they are still like new and still so comfy.

Dani, I'm loving your whole kit here. The flats are flattering to your foot and I love that they have some support. I know what you mean about pounding the ground in a ballet flat. My feet can't do it anymore! I also adore the pant and the T! Hopefully J Crew is getting back to their quality things. I'v had some good luck there lately too.

Anon I am so happy you discovered this trick! What a perfect family holiday. For years we travelled to NY state for skiing, we had use of a family ski chalet but what a commotion with the food, cooking, cleaning, it was so much work for me it was ridiculous.
