Mop Philosophy Monday

It's June and you know what that means... the peonies are in bloom.
This coral and yellow one is my favourite.
Though the yellow tree peony isn't too shabby either...
The yellow tree peony.
I hope your week is off to a fine start.  We just returned from Algonquin Park and it was so beautiful there, don't worry I took pictures for you.
I've also got an update coming on some wardrobe basics... stay tuned and be good!

    1. Ina the rain really wrecks them, we've had buckets of rain all morning and I think the peonies are looking a little soggy. Thanks very much!

  4. Happy Birthday Dani, may this be your best year yet.

I would love a tree peony, are they difficult to establish? Any advice is appreciated.

    1. Thanks xoxo. I planted my tree peony and then left it alone! I think the key is sun, I sure don't have a green thumb so it's nothing special.

    1. Thanks Marsha, we stayed at Bartlett, you would love it. And you know I think I'll give Killarney a try too so thanks for the tip, any kind of vacation up there that involves great outdoors without camping is fine by me! Thanks for the good wishes.

  11. Happy Birthday to you Dani. When I was a little girl, we used to go camping in Algonquin Park during the summer. Many moons ago. Gorgeous peonies. I adore how they smell.

  23. Sorry I missed your birthday. Hope you had a great one. I've been sort of MIA helping my daughter get ready and painting against a deadline for a show. My daughter is past her due date now, and I'm antsy like crazy. Hope all is well.

    1. Kathy I was just thinking yesterday that I needed to find your email so I could check in! Past her due date, how nervous a time for you but also exciting! Past due is better than too early but I can understand completely how you feel. I'm sure it won't be long now, please let us know how it goes.
The painting must be a good distraction and thanks for the birthday wishes, I appreciate it very much.

I am so thrilled to find bunches and bunches of peonies all over our new yard, including huge light pink ones that are my dream flower, and I'm seriously over the moon.
