Palm Beach Style

If you are craving warm balmy air, fresh ocean breezes, superior window-shopping and people-watching I highly recommend a few days in Palm Beach Florida.

Worth Avenue is definitely, well, worthy of a stroll.  All of the beautiful things are there.

Nice yellow and pink combo.

Somehow seems over-the-top fabulous and Palm Beach-ish.

This makes me want to go to a Blue and White Ball.

Jen I thought of you when I snapped these!

Superior car-spotting as well.

A few knick-knacks for the home.

Yes thanks.

World's most gorgeous and elegant Italian paper shop.

Even the outdoor lanterns are stunning.

One of each please.

Through the garden gate.
I hope you've been well and staying out of mischief.
Have a lovely Monday,
xoxDani

    1. Hi Anna, over the shock now of the morning my day turned into a Homeland episode but will never forget it! I think you must be talking about my favourite recipe for dinner parties etc because it's so delicious and easy:

Nigella really hit it out of the park with that recipe.
I hope you are well :) XO

  4. Now i can see what you meant when you said the window shopping was so much fun! I love little boutiques with interesting things in them. Those window displays were fabulous too - the blue and white dress!! Divine! Looks like a wonderful trip to recharge the batteries with some sunshine to get you through the rest of Winter. xx

    1. Heidi yes Worth Ave takes window shopping to a whole new level! The windows were gorgeous. It was fun to hang out with my girlfriends and just do nothing. Then we came home to a blizzard of course but I almost enjoy the contrast too. XO

    1. Aww thanks Stobby. Be careful though, I was looking up at the sky today while walking Scout and I slammed smack into a tree. Wish I had a video of it because it would be a good laugh. XO

  11. It all looks so divine! I hope you had a fabulous trip and by the looks of these pictures you did.

The stationery shop reminded me of one I walked into on the UES of New York. I ended up buying some marbled pencils covered in Italian paper because they were so beautiful.

    1. CD I had to stop myself buying everything in that shop including some exquisite pencils! It was a really fun trip and such a contrast to my hubs and kids back home on the ski slopes. Thanks CD XO

  12. Dani looks fabulous! I have yet to get there, but would love to see all the colorful shops and decor. It seems a bit like Palm Springs, but by the sea. The first photo of the bikes is so pretty. I hope you had a great getaway and bought yourself a little trinket too. x Kim

    1. Kim you would love Palm Beach! I've not been to Palm Springs but I'd love to see it. Palm Beach is a fairly easy trip for us, 3 hour direct flight and we stay with Peggy, my friend Berna's Mom. Peggy is the best, she shares her wisdom and cooks us delicious food, it's so comforting and fun.
I did buy a picture frame in that beautiful Italian paper shop, stuck our wedding photo inside. :) XO

  13. What beautiful photos. Love the blue shoes. Definitely a contender for the wedding! I've been obsessed with that Gucci bee bag. Seems like a future classic even though wildly OTT. I'm glad you had a nice getaway. It's been a funny winter: not cold but very lacking in sunshine. I'm sure the vitamin D was welcomed! xo

    1. Jen you know how it is to get off the plane and just be in warm air! Love the Palm Beach airport.
I know, that bee bag, it's excellent. I thought of you when I saw the blue shoes and the strapless blue and white gown, could do that for a wedding too, it was so beautiful. XO

  14. Dani, I just bought my first Hermes scarf and was wondering if you have any tips for care and handling(wash, press, storage). Maybe someday, if you have the time, you could do a post on this and show some of the lovelies you own and how you style them:)

    1. Brenda that's so exciting, you are going to love that scarf forever!
I could definitely write a post on this, though I feel like a bit of an amateur when it comes to Hermes scarves I do love and appreciate them so much, I just think they are exquisite.
The washing of them is an issue and though I would love to be able to handwash mine I do bring them to the cleaners, same goes for my husband's Hermes ties.
Be sure to read MaiTai's blog if you don't already, she's the world expert! Link to her blog on my blog roll :) XO

  15. Hi Dani, I totally missed this post, I'm missing lots of things on bloglovin these days. I only saw this because Jen linked to it. Anyhoo, your sunny break looks like so much fun. I've only been to Florida once, and that was to get on a cruise ship, but there's nothing like getting off the plane in winter to warm air!

  16. Gosh, I missed this post, too! So glad you got to spend a couple of days in FL. With advancing age, I've come to enjoy a winter break more and more. Hope you had a blast!
