Ocean Story

The Eastern Shore,  Nova Scotia
Taylor's Head Beach
We're just back from a weekend on the East Coast and the ocean blues were so inspiring.  I packed up some summer favourites in a seaside palette and they were just the right things: colourful, easy and comfortable.
Trusty old Tory Burch straw bag.

Liberty print shift dress with a navy Brora cardigan.

Brora silk dress with a cropped cardigan in seaside blue.

Brora cardigan in "Sea Holly" with my J.Crew Timex watch in dark blue.

Tory Burch linen jersey stripey top with Aigle low rubber boots in navy.
I hope you have all been well and will excuse my absence for another few days.  I'll be back next week with some posts on England and of course Fall Wardrobe...yippee!
Be Good and Have Fun,
xoxDani

What a perfect holiday of respite to follow on from "the trip!".
The blues are positively dreamy; and the combination of liberty cotton and cashmere looks heavenly.

Enjoy your break and look forward to hearing from you soon. Helen :)

  17. Your photographs of chipped blue paint on wood are quite wonderful. Is the last one, above the Tony Burch jersey photo, an old boat? Sure has that feel about it...

    1. Hi GentlemanFarmer yes that is an old boat, an old metal row boat that had the most beautiful chipping paint finish... it was a bit leaky though!
