Chalet Dream

The dark evenings of winter seem so magical in chalet country.   The sky and the trees make for stunning composition.
I hope you have a beautiful New Year's Eve, whether you're at a large and rowdy gathering or maybe tucked into a hideaway, like Dolores and Ed.
Dolores and Ed's Hideaway.
They seem smart don't they.

Wishing you and yours a healthy 2015, with much happiness in your everyday life.

  7. Happy New Year! Look forward to hearing about your holidays. I seek your brand of winter coziness and Oakville has seen far too much rain!! This weekend, I'm driving north until I find enough snow for good skiing!

    1. Jen we're in Ellicottville (at Holimont) and there are plenty of Oakville folks around, lots of snow though it's not the best and not all runs are open... still we love it here, such a charming ski village, I hope you find some snow it's sure to improve, have a terrific night :)

We have been away so long and missed you so much. And, such a lot has happened to you. How awful to have been burgled but you were so lucky not to have been hurt. For that, we are certain, you must feel truly grateful.

We trust that you are tucked up warm wherever you are and we wish you joy, peace and success for 2015. Thank you for your kind message. Such acts of kindness are greatly appreciated.
