Sunday With Scout

Scout celebrated her first birthday yesterday, she had some quality naps and extra dog treats.
We're happy to have her home again, she does seem calmer for the most part and is thoroughly enjoying her mornings at the park.

I've been thinking of my friend The Blue Booby this weekend, she lost her dear Peanut this week.
The only drawback to having a dog is that they have relatively short lives.  Rest in peace little Peanut and Blue Booby we are thinking of you.

  1. Our furbabies simply aren't with us long enough. I don't have children, so mine are extra precious to me. Hugs to those who've lost a four-footed family member.

    1. Hexicon it is the only drawback to having a dog as a member of the family, so loyal but the short life, it's a heartbreak.

  2. Scout even looks sad in this picture! Peanut's death made me hug Indy all the closer as he is 14 now...

  4. Scout is the sweetest. So awful about adorable Peanut. My Beau is a treasure too - guarding the house from his nemesis, the next door cat, Buster - who outweighs by at least 7lbs - Beau is all of 9lbs at after breakfast, though he thinks he is a warrior. They are such funny beings.

    1. Steph I know and it illustrates a dog's short life, Scout is 1 but blink and she'll be 10. We need to enjoy them and to take their lessons on enjoying life.x
